May is perfect for a nice chilled Rose, or a simple gift for Mother’s Day…

2012 Chateau Coutinel2012 Chateau Coutinel, a French blend of 60% Negrette, 20% Gamay, 10% Syrah, and 10% of Fer Servadou. This fun, fruity and floral rose had a bouquet even my Mamaw would enjoy, perfect with a summer berry salad or even as the main ingredient in a four melon sangria. Fresh ripe fruit, subtle tartness, a touch of spice that even an avid white wine or red wine drinker would enjoy on a warm summer afternoon.

2010 Porkus Cerdo con Gusto2010 Porkus Cerdo con Gusto; A Tempranillo from Rioja, Spain.  It’s about that time to fire up the Weber and get to grillin’.  This wine would pair so nicely with those warm summer evenings and breath-taking sunsets.  So gather up some friends, whether you’re a jalapeño/cheddar turkey burger fan, or a bacon avocado aficionado, heck this wine won’t discriminate or disappoint even if you pair it with a stuffed grilled Portabello mushroom drizzled with a balsalmic reduction.  Grab this bottle before it’s gone.    Don’t forget Dreg’s Club members receive 50% off wine bottles to go on Wednesday’s and 40% on Thursday- Saturday.  Stop on in for a taste.
