So I joined this Wine Club and I am like where is my Wine?
It’s Here. For Realz!
2007 Olin Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
We’re not usually big proponents of Big Oak influenced California Cab but like a Michael Bay flick or Karaoke to the Crue, sometimes it’s just what the Dr. Ordered.
Dr. Feelgood that is.
Fruit forward & layered this a collabo between Wes Hagen of Clos Pepe & Shea Comfort “The Yeast Whisperer”. It’s an 07 so like Tommy Lee it’s ready to Rock NOW.
‘He’s the one they call Dr. Feelgood. He’s goin make you feel alright’.
Beer Club: Killer Cans. Build your Own 12 Pack.
So then I was like, “Yo, I’m part of Beer Club. Where’s my beer?”
This month, we’re getting can crazy for July. It’s Can Awareness Month at the Dregs.
Serious? Cans? Why? Doesn’t aluminum give beers that metallic taste?
No. Cans are superior to bottles for a number of reasons: no light or oxygen penetration (which ensures fresh and delicious beer), lower carbon footprint than glass, cans chill quicker, AND portability. You can pretty much take cans anywhere – park, pool, beach, you name it. Not that we advocate drinking in public spaces or anything… Day drinking is perfectly alright though.
We got a crazy canned craft beer selection this month with American jawns from Nebraska Brewing Co., Evil Twin from New York/Sweden, Midnight Sun in Alaska, Caldera Brewing in Oregon, Big Sky Brewing, Cisco Brewers in Masschusetts, and even a few breweries around the world. Time for you to choose your own (12 pack) adventure.
